Jaw 3D pictures 2018-11-12

I had cavitation surgery at Swiss-Biohealth january 2019. I had a preparatory meeting at the clinic november 12. 2018 and they took 3D pictures of my mouth. These pictures were not for TMJ diagnosis and the TMJ is mostly missing from the pictures. However I have tried to make some interesting screenshots from the 3D model anyway. The Coronoid Process structure is visible, and the Mental Foramen opening for nerve and blood supply to the mandibular teeth.

TMJ er dessverre akkurat utenfor synsfeltet. Vi ser Mental Foramen – hullet i haken der en del av Trigeminal Nerve (femte kranie nerven) går igjennom. Nerven har grener til de nærliggende tennene og til leppen.
